Turó de les Abelles
Turó de les Abelles will captivate you with its aroma of red fruit and a long, fleshy taste with hints of licorice and toasted with the freshness that characterizes the wines of the Garraf Massif.
With production limited to this parcel, the Turó de les Abelles wine is the result of our experience working with the Grenache variety. The Grenache variety grows in a parcel called Turó de les Abelles, comprised of poor, stony and calcareous soil that gives it a mineral character. The Syrah comes from a vineyard characterized by the presence of marine fossils in the land. It ferments in open French oak barrels using indigenous wild yeasts and keeps its ageing for 24 months. Here we have an intense garnet-coloured wine with a lower layer. On the nose, mineral and red fruit aromas predominate, with spicy notes. In the mouth it is powerful and long, tasty, with licorice and toasted notes. It is a wine with good acidity, volume, and structure.

Harvest: handpicked and selection in vineyard. The grapes are brought to the winery in crates of 15 kg.
Fermentation: with indigenous yeast, in open barrels, using pigeage.
Aging: The wine is aged in French oak barrels (300 liters) for 12 months. Wine release date was January 22, 2024.
Bottling: 2575 bottles of 75cl and 60 bottles of 150cl in March 2023.
Well covered garnet color.
Mineral and black fruit aromas, spicy aromas of well macerated grapes.
The palate is powerful and long, tasty, fleshy, with notes of licorice and roasted.
The wine has a very good balance between acidity, volume and structure.
