Finca Viladellops Xarel·lo is the winery’s most representative white wine. This is a single-varietal Xarel·lo, from a selection of the best bunches from our oldest vines, and also contains 30% Xarel·lo Rosado, an almost non-existent variety, of which there are currently few hectares left. After aging for approximately one year, this wine has a marked mineral-saline character on the palate, very structured, complex and balanced, but at the same time fresh, thanks to the characteristic acidity of the Xarel·lo. It represents 3 unique Xarel-lo batches: Xarel-lo rosado, calcareous Xarel-lo and Xarel-lo in anillas.

Harvest: handpicked, selection in vineyard. The grapes are brought to the winery in crates of 15 kg.
We put the whole bunch of the grape directly to the press.
Fermentation with indigenous yeast, in French oak 500 ltr barrels, with controlled temperature.
Ageing: 7 months in the barrels in contact with the lees.
Bottling: 6610 bottles of 75cl and 60 bottles of 150cl (April 2024).
Soft, bright golden color.
The nose is floral and harmonious, where oak notes are barely perceptible, despite its aging. In the mouth there is a marked presence of mineral elements, enhanced by the permanence of the wine with its lees during aging. The palate is full, complex and maintains its freshness and balance thanks to its excellent acidity.
It is also remarkable the evolution of the wine in the glass, as the temperature changes, it obtains different nuances that define its aromatic complexity.
