Viladellops Grenache

Its fresh, intense and fruity aroma combines perfectly with its cherry colour. Viladellops Garnatxa is the representation of the balance that it manages to transmit to everyone who has the pleasure of enjoying it.

Produced with a coupage of the freshest and fruitiest wines from each vintage. Made with Grenache, which according to our experience is the red variety that best conveys the quality of our estate, this is a cherry-colored wine with a fresh and fruity aroma. With a notable persistence in the mouth, that is at the same time tasty and rich in aromas. This wine is made with the youngest Grenache vines in Viladellops. All the work in the vineyard is the same as that done for other Viladellops wines. The different parcels are vinified with very short macerations to look for fresh wines with very soft tannins. Vinification with stainless steel and ageing throughout the winter in cement tanks. On the nose, you can perceive the typical Grenache with all its range of red fruits. In the mouth it is fresh, friendly, and tasty.

The authenticity of a wine village

Finca Viladellops is located next to the castle of Olèrdola, in the Garraf Massif wine region, in the Penedès, 45 km from Barcelona. The origins of Olèrdola go back to the Iberians; its historical and strategic importance has been perpetuated over time, being in the medieval period a border city with the Muslim world.

Certified organic farm, with 60 Ha of its vineyards, of the indigenous Xarel·lo and Garnatxa varieties, within a property with an extension of 400 Ha.

On the side of the mountain that surrounds the winery, you can see the terraces with olive trees, almond trees and vineyards, crops that have constituted the agricultural base of the property since time immemorial.
